These table-top sculptures, carved from naturally eroded river rocks, are contemporary versions of “Arte Rupestre”, ancient rock or cave art.  I have significantly altered the shape and appearance of each stone, just as humans have altered our world.  Works such as 36-24-36 and Diet of the Stone reflect the lengths people go to in order to change their natural appearance, while Zenith, Urban, Countdown and 100 Watts represent some of the damage we do to our planet.  Many of these sculptures incorporate various recycled materials, to reflect the importance of preserving and protecting our resources and ecology.
